The Nursery Ravine hike is a moderate to challenging trail located on the eastern slopes of Table Mountain, directly above Kirstenbosch Botanical Gardens. The trail is known for its stunning scenery, including a rain forest-like ravine, towering cliffs, and panoramic views of the city and ocean. Nursery Ravine consists of a series of steps, steep in some sections, but the views are worth the effort. As you climb, you will pass through a variety of vegetation, including proteas, cycads, and ferns. The trail eventually reaches the Upper Table Mountain Cableway Station. From the summit, you can enjoy 360-degree views of Cape Town, Table Bay, and the surrounding mountains. The Nursery Ravine hike is a great way to experience the beauty of Table Mountain. The trail is challenging but rewarding, and the views are simply stunning.
